Be the inspiration for new music.

BE INTERVIEWED

Your words can become the inspiration for a new song. We are looking for 100 women who are up for a chat. These interviews will be handed to an Australian female composer who will write a song especially for this Bondi performance.

The conversations will circle around life, things we've learned, (things we haven't!), perhaps things passed on from our mothers. You don't need to be a guru or have any special knowledge, just the experience of being alive.

Registrations close: Sept 13

Interviews: Sept 17-22

Interviews can be online or in person.

The Women's Chorus

We are looking for 100 Women ages 16+ to rehearse and perform this extraordinary 60 minute choral song cycle.

No experience is required. Whether you have sung in choirs your whole life, or you don't know a quaver from a paving stone, we'd love to have you involved! This experience is for women who want to express themselves vocally, challenge themselves musically, and make new friends of all ages.

REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCE

Friday 27th: 5:30pm – 8:30pm (rehearsal)

Saturday 28th: 10am – 4pm (rehearsal)

Sunday 29th: 10am – 5pm (rehearsal).

Concert from 5pm

$100 / $60 conc

For people unavailable on Friday night and Saturday (i.e. for religious reasons) there will be an option to learn a few songs at a Thursday rehearsal, please get in touch for more informantion.

JOIN THE GIRLS CHORUS

A CHORUS OF GIRLS

10 - 15 year olds are invited to sing in our Girls Chorus!

They will join the women for 3 songs across the performance, making it the ultimate multi-generational experience. And just like the Women's Chorus no experience is required.

REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCE

Thursday 26th: 4:30pm-6:30pm (rehearsal)

Saturday 28th: 10am – 1pm (rehearsal)

Sunday 29th: 2pm – 5pm (rehearsal). Concert from 5pm

We begin on the Friday evening 5:30-8:30

rehearse 10-4 on the Saturday

and by Sunday at 5pm you will have 99 new friends and feel ready and excited to perform.

I'VE NEVER SUNG IN A CHOIR, CAN I STILL DO IT?

Yes! Our experienced team of experienced conductors will make sure you feel confident on the day! For those with more music background there is extra to keep you busy...

Can a 16 year old join? how about a 10 year old?

The Women’s Chorus is for 16+ and the Girl’s Chorus for 10-15 year olds. Sign up via the buttons above!

I am non-binary, can i be involved?

Absolutely. Anyone that identifies as female or feels represented and comfortable in female spaces is encouraged to join.
