Writing Comp. 
We are looking for 400-1000 articles written by young women from Australia. 

The articles need to address any of the following broad themes/questions: 

Interrelatedness between Anxiety and artistic expression: 

  1. How does your anxiety fuel your art? By art, we mean any form of artistic expression from singing to painting or writing. 
  2. How does your artistic practice help you deal with anxiety? 

 

Anxiety & Inspiration:

  1. What is your experience of anxiety? What causes it? What colour does it have? 

  2. What helps you overcome it? 

  3. What inspires you to keep going with your life regardless of anxiety? Does the sharing of your experience help you feel better?

  4. If you were to write to your younger self / a younger woman, what would day to them? How would you put in words what you have learned about life and the feeling of anxiety?
     

An Image - anything that inspires you, represents what you wrote or any image you like.

Top 10 entries will be published and paid $100.

 

Conditions of entry: Must be aged 12-25. Have an interest in creative arts. 

Word count 400-1000 words. 

Deadline: 5 pm June 1st 2020.

Winners will be announced July 20th 2020.
