The Toy Choir is a cross age ensemble of girls aged 8-18 who learn to write our own music using the Ukulele, and we are auditioning for a 15 week project that will see 20 girls learn to play the ukulele, write their own music, record and perform Toy repertoire over 6 concerts in November/December.

Founded and directed by Danielle O’Keefe, the Toy Choir is an independent youth ensemble dedicated to excellence in choral ensemble work and the development of young artists in singing, song-writing and performance.

Having gone from strength to strength since starting in 2014, the Toy Choir is now an established group of young female singer/songwriters, performing a Mardi Gras, Sydney Festival, Bondi Pavilion and working with Sydney Chamber Opera, Touring to Deniliquin and are currently featured in Angelica Mesiti’s Venice Biennale project Assembly.
